The name Antartica was coined to mean “opposite to the arctic”. Antartica is a high, high- covered landmass. Arctic is the landmasses that grouped around the ice- covered Arctic Ocean. Because of this difference, the climate of the two areas is very different. If we attend in temperature sector, Antartica is the coldest areas in the world (about 30 degrees colder than Arctic). At the south pole, montly mean temperatures run below zero, but at near north pole mean temperatures often rise above freezing. At both poles, daily temperatures may drop far below monthly mean. The spectacular happened in August 1960, that world record for lower temperatures with -127 degrees Farenheit. Partly because of this climate difference, the land animals and plant of the two regions are very different. In Antartica, there are less of plant, but in Arctic, we can find more plant than in Antartica. In some of the few ice-free areas of Antartica, moses, lichens, and algae was found. Penguins do not exist in Arctic but populated in Antartica. Ice is the great feature of Antartica. So Antartica called with storehouse because about 85 percent of the total world supply of ice. If this great volume of ice were to melt, the volume of the world oceans would increase, and sea level would rice. Extreme atmospheric changes would have to take place for this to happen.

Green Revolution

Green revolution swept the world. It happened from 1950 to 1980. World food production doubled with the introduction of a new approach to agriculture. However green revolution method’s no longer appear to be so successful. The green revolution method’s no longer longer successful because of population continues to grow and cost of fertilizer for getting maximum production. Erosion is the reason for the lower grain production. In dry areas, especially, the loss of top soil has low productivity of the land. Grain production has been limited by the lack of water and new types of grain require more water than ordinary grain which we know. Social and political conflictn has interfered with food production. The problem lies in cost of new agricultural methods. Only the landowner can afford to make the necessary investments for maximum production of new grains. And now, it is time to question the methods of the green revolution. Farmers and goverment have to care and need to look at the overall picture and long term effects.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT EFFECTS to SOCIETER

Knowledge is a meaningful experience in any human who grew up since birth. Therefore, a normal human certainly have the knowledge. In the life of a growing and full of challenges, the value does not achieve optimal functional to meet the challenges and solving complex problems. In order to be optimally functional value is the random knowledge should be increased to a science. Science is a collection of facts and rules that have faced with this situation, the public needs to be directed at the attitude of technology aware. Progress is often interpreted as modernization, promising human ability to control nature through science, and increase effectiveness through the implementation of community-based organizations rational considerations.
Can not be denied that the progress of a nation depends on science skill of technology, science technology with all human beings can do things never before imagined. The science is very important in human’s lifes, because the human science can develop the capabilities of the resources.
Knowledge is very useful in everyday life. With the utilization of knowledge objects, la-tools, weapons, and also animals, become easy and focused to achieve results. Especially if that knowledge has been organized became science, the application of the use of objects, tools, and weapons will be even better. Application of knowledge and science in everyday life to produce something resulted in the so-called technological capabilities.
Development of science is always followed by the development of technology. Technology is a systematic study wills techniques to create and work on various objects, while science is a systematic effort to understand and interpret the world.
Thus the technology associated with the manufacture and use of objects, tools and natural artifacts, the science devoted to more conceptual efforts to understand the environment, and depends on a relatively sophisticated expertise in the field of literacy and numeracy.
As we know now, we are carried away by the changing times, a very large involving all aspects of life into an era of globalization. The question now as far as what your participation in the globalization era? Actually, the desired As with Indonesia is our great nation, should be able to participate actively in the globalization era. Of course we do not want to be a toy another nation. Therefore, we must prepare ourselves to meet as early as possible to that era. One alternative is to prepare human resources through education.
So the main issue that must be answered is how to improve the quality of human resources in order to meet the era of globalization? One of the alternatives that can be taken is to introduce science and technology as early as possible in education, both formal and non formal. Because our students are the days of human resources will come.
In the globalization era like today, we would expect the changes and developments in science technology very quickly. Similarly, the culture will evolve with developments in science technology.
The existence of technological knowledge in a society is a cultural richness that is very important not only for the people concerned, but untoo all mankind. Technological advances in science are determined by the existence of revival culture and support the spirit of exploring the unknown world. This is called doing research or research.
Technological advancement of science in several fields such as transportation, communication, information, and energy have brought many changes in style of life and human life more dynamic. Technological advances such as transportation, allowing people in constant high mobilety, moving from one place to another in a high frequency, the more narrow the world looks.
While advances in information technology to create a variety of exchanges and ease traffic flow more quickly and transparently, making a world without limits. Possible exchange of information in various forms and in various print and electronic media. Mobility and all the ease of lifestyle can only be obtained, while other progress is achieved and the technological progress of energy management.
The most effective tool for the dissemination of technological knowledge is the mass media and electronic media. Particularly television, as well as event promotion / advertising of new tech products, as well as an effective information tool to popularize science and technology. Now in Indonesia television and newspapers have been touched rural areas, thus adding to the smoothness of information for the public, including information about the study.

Mencari Motivasi

Entah sudah berapa lama atau berapa kali saya menyesalkan ketidakseriusan saya dalam memandang suatu permasalahan, yang sepele sekalipun. Misalnya saja, membaca. Dalam hal ini, membaca boleh jadi merupakan hobi saya jika sudah mememukan bahan bacaan yang pas dengan feel yang sedang saya rasakan. Nah, kalau tidak?.... Sepertinya saya sudah menutup diri untuk ilmu-ilmu yang mengantre untuk masuk ke dalam benak saya. Di sinilah kelemahan saya. Saya sangat kurang termotivasi terhadap suatu permasalahan.

Mencari motivasi sudah saya lakukan, tetapi saya akui itu sangatlah tidak mempan terhadap setan pada pemalas yang satu ini. Namanya saja setan. Hehehe...

Bagi teman-teman yang ingin tahu bentuk motivasi apa yang telah saya terapkan selama ini, saya akan membocorkanya sekarang... Jadi simaklah baik-baik!

1. Ingatlah orang-orang yang menyayangi kita yang telah memberikan dukungan dan jerih payahnya dengan harapan kita dapat lebih baik dari yang sekarang. Orang2 itu bisa aja orang tua kita... Saudara kita... atau bahkan kekasih setia kita. Buatlah mereka bangga akan prestasi yang kita ukir. Jangan sia-siakan pengorbanan mereka seperti air susu yang dibalas air selokan. Setubuh???... eh, Setuju???!!...

2. Ingatlah bahwa kita adalah utusan umat yang dituntut menjadi yang terbaik. Yah... Logikanya nih, buat apa Sang Maha Kuasa menciptakan kalau tidak ada gunanya. Buat apa sperma bapak kita disia-siakan untuk seorang anak yang tak berguna. Nah... Mulai sekarang kita harus camkan hal ini yaa, kawan2...

3. Saya biasanya melukiskan kalimat2 Orang2 besar dan istimewa di dinding kamar, namun karena saya sekarang lagi tinggal di kosan... Kalo coret2 gitu, ntar dimarain bu kos lagi!... Misalnya nih, Kalimatnya Henry Ford ato JOhn F Kenedy gitu. Harapanya saat kita membacanya, muncul semangat baru yang menyala-nyala. Waduh kalimatnya kok rada2 lebai gini y...

4. Selalu berdo'a dan mendekatkan diri pada-Nya akan membuat kita sadar akan siapa sebenarnya diri kita. Selalu lakukan hal positif ( berpahala juga kalau bisa ) agar membuat kita semakin 'dilirik' oleh-Nya sehingga kita dapat selalu di dalam bimbingan-Nya. Amiin.

5. Jangan Remehkan Motivasi yang Telah Kita Buat! Naah... Saya sadar d sinilah kesalahan saya. Ada kalanya saya melakukanya dan saya semakin dibuat menyesal karenanya. Semoga di waktu yang akan datang saya dapat memperbaiki hal ini. Begitu pula dengan kalian. Jadi, sampai manakah kekuatan motivasi kalian??... atoo Belum punya motivasi???... Buat sekarang!

Acne Caused

Acne is a skin condition that occur due to the over production oil by the oil glands of the skin. The areas with the highest population of oil glands are face, chest, shoulders, and back. Acne affects almost everyone ( more than 90 percents ) and it is not restricted to the age. Older adult and children can also have acne.

Some people believe acne caused by their activities. That is not true because acne caused by a combination of factors at work far beneath the surface of the skin. There is hormones, extra sebum, follicle fallout, bacteria, and inflammation.

Hormones are the first which can cause acne. Begins at puberty, the body begins to produce hormones called androgen. This hormones are also responsible for acne flare-up associated with the menstrual cycle and pregnancy. Second acne caused is extra sebum. It is produce when the sebaceous is stimulated by androgen and it will up the follicle toward the surface, then it mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin that have been shed from the lining of follicle. This process can cause acne for us.

Follicle fallout can cause acne too. In condition, dead cells within the follicle shed gradually and are expelled onto the skin surface. bacteria also can cause acne. Bacteria do play a role in making the situation worse. Bacteria called P. acnes, is a normal part of the skin surface. It keeps the skin from being invaded by harmful bacteria.

Inflammation is the next acne caused. Inflamed skin is characterized by redness, swelling, warmth, and discomfort. Inflammation of the skin happens because the body's immune system is acting to rid it self of a foreign substance. The inflammatory response is different for everyone, but studies have shown that is especially strong in adult woman.

There are five major factors responsible for causing acne. They act together to causing acne. Acne is still no curable, but treatable. So, we know more about controlling this condition than ever before.
